Surrey Welcomes New Cloverdale Sport & Ice Complex with Official Grand Opening

Surrey, B.C., October 24, 2025 – Surrey residents have a reason to celebrate! The brand-new Cloverdale Sport & Ice Complex is officially opening its doors on October 25, 2025, promising a state-of-the-art space for sports, recreation, and community events.

The grand opening celebration runs from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 12:00 p.m., attended by Mayor Brenda Locke and members of Surrey City Council. Residents are invited to explore the facility, meet city representatives, and enjoy family-friendly activities throughout the day.

Located at 6336 177B Street, the complex features modern ice rinks, multipurpose sports areas, and recreational amenities designed for athletes of all ages and skill levels. It’s part of Surrey’s ongoing effort to provide accessible, high-quality spaces that encourage healthy living and community engagement.
